Green Giving

We firmly believe that our day to day actions and behaviours can have a real impact on the world we live in, the state of our environment, and the health of our planet.   While we strive to make our office carbon neutral, reduce our office consumption and be conscious of our daily impact on the planet, we do recognize that this isn't always enough.  We have therefore chosen to donate 10% of all net revenues to three locally based organizations that are working to protect our environment and improve the world we live in.

We encourage you to read more about our three environmental champions of choice and let us know what you think...after all, it is because of you that we are able to support these great organizations in their work.  Since 2007, we have donated  $40,804.06 to environmental organizations and we are looking forward to adding to that number!

Environment

EcoJustice Canada
As Canada's pre-eminent advocate for the environment, EcoJustice Canada (formerly Sierra Legal), is now a cornerstone in the strategic plans of campaign groups throughout the country. Their lawyers and scientists represent not only environmentalists, but also labour groups, First Nations, and citizens' organizations. They continue to tackle some of the most significant environmental cases in the country and choose their cases strategically to set important precedents in Canada's burgeoning body of environmental law.  From the lower courts to the Supreme Court of Canada, environmental cases are being heard and won.  For more information, please visit www.ecojustice.ca

The David Suzuki Foundation
This organization works through science and education to protect the diversity of nature and our quality of life, now and for the future. With a goal of achieving sustainability within a generation, the Foundation collaborates with scientists, business and industry, academia, government and non-governmental organizations. We seek the best research to provide innovative solutions that will help build a clean, competitive economy that does not threaten the natural services that support all life. For more information please visit www.davidsuzuki.org

The Western Canada Wilderness Committee
This committee is the largest membership-based, citizen-funded wilderness preservation organization in Canada and they are passionate about saving wilderness and wildlife and strive to do this through education. Across the country, the Wilderness Committee has 30,000 members and an additional support base of 30,000 donors and has campaigned successfully to protect millions of hectares of Canadian wilderness in over 40 key wilderness areas. Their educational mission is supported by a strong research and mapping program, strategic alliances with other environmental groups, First Nations and community leaders, and regular expeditions into threatened wilderness areas.  For more information please visit www.wildernesscommittee.org

School Program

Because we believe in giving back to the community, $100 from every house sold is donated to the elementary school in the local catchment area.

The Arts

We proudly support Vancouver's vibrant arts community with donations going to the Arts Club Theatre Company, The Vancouver Concert Band, as well as the Al Mozaiko Flamenco Dance Academy.
