Before becoming a Realtor, Charmaine attended BCIT in the early 1980’s, received her journeyman’s cooking papers and went on to work for the BC Cancer Control Agency for many years as their 2nd cook. She also worked for Woodward’s Food Floor and believes this job helped develop her customer service skills.
Now, as a Realtor with the Vrba Nickerson Team, she considers her ability to provide excellent customer service to be a crucial aspect of her job. Her passion for service has not gone unnoticed and Charmaine was awarded a spot in Re/Max’s 100% Club, which recognizes realtors who provide exceptional service.
Representing clients is an honor and privilege that Charmaine doesn’t take lightly, so for every home she lists, Charmaine’s philosophy is to put herself in the position of the buyer and seller so that she remains empathetic and in-tune with every aspect of the real estate transaction. This philosophy has paid off since past clients have said that they appreciated her dedication, warmth and humor during the stressful process of selling their homes.
Outside of the office, Charmaine actively supports recovery programs in the Lower Mainland and she is also very involved in her church, St. Paul’s Parish in Richmond, BC. She enjoys cooking, camping, fishing, swimming, cycling and spending time with her kids as well as Irish dancing. Charmaine has taken her passion for running marathons to the next level and is currently training for a mini triathlon.
